**Math Learning Goals: Problem Solving with Multiplication **

3.4F(S)- recall facts to multiply up to 10 by 10 with automaticity and recall the corresponding division facts

3.4D(S)- determine the total number of objects when equally-sized groups of objects are combined or arranged in arrays up to 10 by 10

3.4E(S)- represent multiplication facts by using a variety of approaches such as repeated addition, equal-sized groups, arrays, area models, equal jumps on a number line, and skip counting

Math Homework:

Math Homework is due Thursday. Homework is passed out on Fridays. Study your Multiplication facts (0’s, 1’s, 2’s, 4’s) We will be sending home some tools throughout the week to help study their facts.

Mad Minute **(Multiplication facts)** is Thursday and results will be written in their planner on Friday. Our Mad Minute consists of 30 problems and students have one minute to complete as many as possible. Our goal is to get better each week.

**Science Learning Goals: Landforms and Changes in Earth’s surface**

3.7A- Explore and record how soils are formed by weathering of rock and the decomposition of plant and animal remains.

3.7B- Investigate rapid changes in Earth’s surface such as volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, and landslides.

3.7C – Identify and compare different landforms, including mountains, hills, valleys, and plains
