Math Learning Goals: Fractions
3.3A(S)- represent fractions greater than zero and less than or equal to one with denominators of 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 using concrete objects and pictorial models including strip-diagrams and number lines
3.7A (S) represent fractions as halves, fourths, and eights as distances from 0 on a number line.
Math Homework:
- Math homework is sent home on Fridays and is due back the following Thursday. Homework will be due on Thursday, January 28.
- Please study your MULTIPLICATION FACTS. 0’s, 1’s, 2’s, 3’s , 5’s, 6’s, 7’s, 8’s and 10’s only. We will have a Mad Minute on Thursday. Students will have one minute to solve 30 multiplication facts. This is not for a grade. We will set goals each week to improve fact fluency.

3.8B – Describe and illustrate the Sun as a star composed of gases that provides light and thermal energy.
3.8C – Construct models that demonstrate the Sun, Earth and moon including orbits and positions.
3.8D – Identify the planets in Earth solar system and their position in relation to the Sun.
