             3.4F- multiplication fact review

             4.2A- Place value is 10 times position to right & 1/10 of the place to the left

             4.2B- Place value of whole #’s through 1 billion & decimals through hundredths

Math Homework:

Please study your squares, 2’s and 5’s.  A multiplication quiz will be given on Wednesday for the squares,2’s , 3’s and 5’s.  Students will also have an additional quiz this week on Friday covering squares, 2’s, 3’s, 4’s, and 5’s.

Homework was passed out on Friday, August 27th.  It is due Thursday, September 2nd.  New math homework will be sent home on Friday.

We are currently working on learning to read, write, and expand numbers up to the hundred billions.  We are using this place value rap to help us!

A green letter was sent home today explaining how students need to study their multiplication facts.  Please sign and return this letter. This week, students are expected to study their squares.  A quiz will be given on Friday.  Thanks!

4.4A- Add and subtract whole numbers and decimals to the hundredths place using standard algorithm (focus on whole numbers only)

 4.2B- Place value of whole #’s through 1 billion & decimals through hundredths    

Math Homework:

A multiplication quiz will be given on Friday for the Squares only.  A green note will be sent home on Monday on which multiplication facts to study for.

Homework will be passed out on Friday, August 2oth and due back on Thursday August 26th.

I hope everyone had a wonderful summer!  Meet the Teacher for the Intermediate campus is from 5-6 pm.  The first day of school will be on Thursday, August 12th.  I’m looking forward to meeting all of my students!
