Math Learning Goals: 2-digit by 1-digit Multiplication and Fact Families
3.4J(S)- determine a quotient using the relationship between multiplication and division
3.4 G – use strategies and algorithms, including the standard algorithm, to multiply a 2-digit by a one-digit number. Strategies may include mental math; partial products, and the commutative, associative and distributive properties.
Math Homework:
- Math homework is sent home on Fridays and is due back the following Thursday. Math homework will be due on Thursday, December 10.
- Please study your MULTIPLICATION FACTS. 0’s, 1’s, 2’s, 3’s, 4’s and 6’s only. We will have a Mad Minute on Thursday. Students will have one minute to solve 30 multiplication facts. This is not for a grade. We will set goals each week to improve fact fluency.
