2020 3rd Grade
Christmas Party
Dear Third Grade Families,
It is time to start preparing for our 3rd Grade Christmas parties! Our parties take place on December 18th, which is an early release day. Our classes will still have a fun party but this year it will only be for the class and teacher. We won’t be able to have families come to this party.
Even though our parties will look very different this year, we will still celebrate these parties with a “Penny Christmas”. Third grade concentrates on the value of sharing memories with each other, not spending lots of money on a gift. With this in mind, students will share very inexpensive gifts with each other. Students are welcome to bring these gifts starting Monday, December 14. Each child will have a bag in their homeroom, made at school. In the past, some items bought for Penny Christmas have been: individually wrapped candy canes, pencils, stickers, erasers, bouncy balls, play-doh, etc. Each student will need to bring enough items for each student in their homeroom. There are 18 students in your child’s homeroom.
Thank you so much and Happy Holidays,
Third Grade Teachers:
Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Fouse, Mrs. Pullen,
Mrs. Hamrick, Mrs. Tatum and Mrs. Williams
